help save the Asian elephant

Date an Elephant’ is a unique gift that is perfect for all special occasions including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and Valentine’s Day. The concept of Elephant Dating was created by UK registered conservation charity, elephant family, as a refreshing change to the classic charity adoption packages available and is the ideal present for animal lovers everywhere!

Elephant Dating has now sold out.
Elephant Family will be re-issuing a new product late 2011.

For £30 you will be set up on a 12 month long date with a real Asian elephant from one of elephant family’s projects in India, Thailand or Sumatra. In return you will receive unusual gifts including beautiful love letters on recycled elephant dung paper, a photograph for your bedside table and, quite naturally, a Valentine’s card.

By dating an elephant, you will be helping Elephant Family to save the highly endangered Asian elephant from extinction in the wild and to protect them from abuse and exploitation in captivity. £25 from the sale of each gift goes directly to the project that cares for your chosen elephant.

Elephant Dating is supported by a host of celebrity daters including Stephen Fry, Sophie Dahl, Joseph Fiennes, Trinny Woodall, Nigel Havers, The Duchess of York and Beatrice & Eugenie Windsor.
Check out what Stephen Fry has to say!

“I’m utterly delighted to be in a long-term, loving and co-dependent relationship with an elephant. The rumours of a trial separation in October were nonsense. It’s true I flirted with an African elephant while on safari but it meant nothing.”
